- The Main Shrine: The main shrine of the temple is dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi and her consort Sundareswarar. The shrine is a two-storeyed structure with a towering gopuram (gateway tower). The interior of the shrine is adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures.
